How the test works

What are we testing for

Allergy, intolerance or sensitivity?

Our specialised test is done through a sample of your hair. Yes, I know it sounds a bit strange but it is the easiest way for us to access your energy that we can then test against commonly ingested foods and environmental substances. Our testing machine utilises the most up to date energy medicine testing technology commonly used in Europe.
This test is simple, non-invasive and pain free.

We also offer another allergy kit that is based on IgG type reactions, whereby you add a drop of your blood to a kit that can test your immune cells reaction to common foods.


We can test for over 280 most common foods and environmental substances that maybe affecting your vitality and wellbeing.

We also test for exclusive New Zealand
foods and substances. (NZ Spinach, Kumara, Golden and Green Kiwifruit, Feijoa, NZ pollens, Pipi, Tua Tua, Kahawai, Tarakihi ...)

Many foods or drinks that we consume, especially on a daily basis, can affect our health and wellbeing and are linked to many unwanted effects including fatigue, headaches, skin problems, breathing problems as well as affecting our immune, nervous and digestive systems.
The level of severity of these effects can vary.

An IgE allergic reaction can cause an immediate severe reaction.   (We are not testing for these types of reaction)

Other allergy, intolerance or sensitivity pathways also exist (which we are testing for)  these effects are slower to appear, are more subtle and difficult to detect.

Note: if you are avoiding certain foods these may not show up in your test result

Next steps for a healthier life


Not all food is created equal.
Here are our top tips of foods to avoid.

  • Heavily pesticide sprayed food
  • Genetically engineered food – can be non-organic soy, corn, canola (if grown in NZ its not GE as we have no commercial GE crops)
  • Processed food as they can contain ingredients such as preservatives, colours, flavours, emulsifiers, fillers, sweeteners
  • Rotate food groups so they are not eaten everyday especially wheat, soy and dairy


It is also recommended to thoroughly read ingredient labels, processed and packaged foods do contain foods and substances that you may not realise are present.

Cooking using raw whole ingredients is the healthiest way to encompass these changes into your diet as it gives you control over what you are eating and is generally fresher and higher in nutrients.

We also recommend you source organic food wherever possible as this helps to reduce your exposure to undesirable chemicals which many non organic foods are now grown and treated with.

But please read the labels, foods which are organic or gluten-free aren't always the healthiest option.



Healthy food in general

Elimination Diet



Another way to detect and treat food allergies or sensitivities is through an elimination diet.
This is a special diet where foods are eliminated for a period of time and are then reintroduced to see if they cause a reaction.

There are 4 phases to an elimination diet.

  1. The planning phase – this involves recording what you eat frequently, crave or would have difficulty giving up, this is combined with recording any health challenges and when they appear. From this information, a likely list of foods is devised.
  2. The avoidance phase – depending on compliance and nutritional needs one or more foods or food groups are removed from the diet for 10 days to 4 weeks. Common foods to start with are dairy, wheat, citrus or nightshades.
  3. The challenge phase – if symptoms decrease during the avoidance phase it is likely that the food or foods that were eliminated were contributing to symptoms. If many foods have been avoided only introduce one food at a time for 1 day only. (If symptoms have reduced markedly many people do not want to reintroduce foods)
  4. Creating a long-term diet plan – it is advised to keep the offending foods out of the diet for 3-6 months and then the food can be reintroduced if no symptoms are experienced that food maybe eaten in a rotation diet usually 1 day in 4.

Eliminations diets can be very healing but they do have limitations and compliance challenges.
