How to take a hair sample
1. Snip or shave approx the amount of a teaspoon of your hair maximum 25-30 mm (1 inch) long as close to the scalp as possible. It can be collected from more than one place. Easiest to take it from the nape of the neck.
2. Put the hair sample in to a zip lock plastic bag and put the date, your full name and date of birth on.
If you dye your hair please label it - "dyed". If you do not have head hair please provide hair from another part of the body and clearly label it - "body hair".
3. Send the hair to us by post or NZ Post Courier (the only courier company delivering to PO Boxes) together with the printed invoice. We will notify you when your hair sample has arrived and you will receive your full result by email within 7 days from that date.
